Saturday was a great day in Lesotho. We currently have electricity and hot water. Renee got ready today by using bottled water to wash her hair. I beat the water shut-off because I was up early trying to keep the pigeons from flying into our room. I was closest to the open slider so I assumed the job of guarding our domain!
We spent the day with Me’ Rose visiting children in 2 different villages, taught a women’s Bible study, distributed Bibles, taught the children some new songs, and visited a potential new home for pigs. This city girl is not real familiar with pigs but did get close enough to rub its back and get her to snort.
Tomorrow we’ll be worshiping with friends at the Maseru United Church and hopefully getting caught up on blog and facebook postings.
Blessings,
Marji “Mike” Kruger
