Praise…
• God for the opportunity He has provided for us to return to Lesotho.
• For the perseverance of the laypeople from the Maseru United Church (MUC).
Please Pray…
• That God will continue the work He began in Lesotho a year ago.
• That God will nurture and deepen the many friendships we have with the people of Lesotho.
• That God is preparing the people of MUC for His messages.
• That God’s Spirit will take God’s Word and imprint it on their minds and hearts to show them the relevancy for their church and lives today.
• That God will grant us meaningful interaction with the women of MUC and that God will cause them to deepen their desire to know His Word.
• That God will guide us with helping MUC with shaping of their vision and outreach to the community.
• That God will make the people of MUC a bright light in the city and in the mountains of Lesotho.
• That God will be preparing the hearts and minds of the orphans so that they will be receptive to God’s Word; to His love extended through us; and to the hope He provides for them…and that each will be transformed as they hear His Word.
• For God to guide us with our interaction with Lydia (Lesotho Child Counseling Unit)…that He will use us to refresh and encourage her…that He will give us His eyes to see as we shadow her with day to day activities…and that He will prepare her for her visit to Sarasota in July.
• For wisdom and discernment with how we can minister to and encourage Matsele and Limakatso with their ministry to the children in the mountains…that God will guide us with how to come alongside them with assistance and resources teaching them how to more effectively share the Gospel with those in rural areas.
• For God to give Renee wisdom with what music to do and for either live accompaniment or a sound system that works.
• That we will know just the right computer and camera equipment to bring and that it will all work properly.
• That God will protect our (Renee, Sandy and Mike) hearts and minds from enemy attacks on our thoughts, circumstances, and actions towards us. Especially pray that all doubts and fears will be replaced by trust in God and His plans.
• That the team will be of 1 heart, 1 mind, and 1 purpose prior to the trip, while we are away, and when we return.
• For our safety as we travel…and that all will be well for the duration of the trip.
• That we will see the people the way God sees them and that God will break our hearts with what breaks His heart.
• That Mike will be in step with God so that she balances the time demands related to the trip, her teaching schedule, and maintaining the website.
• That God will prompt people to give generously so that we can purchase food, clothing and other supplies for the children.
