Marji (“Mike”) Kruger is an educator, writer, webmaster, and lecturer. Her messages challenge her audiences
to consider the relevance of a Christian faith for today's lifestyles. She has a passion for challenging individuals to know Jesus Christ and
to grow in their personal relationships with Him through a deeper understanding of God's Word.
Marji draws on a rich background of
life experiences, from a successful collegiate tennis career to the struggle of the competitive business
world, to her commitment to preserving and strengthening the values of the family unit in today's complex society.
At Michigan State University, Marji was recognized as a leading student
-athlete, earning a B.S. degree in Education while serving as co-captain of the women's varsity tennis team and winning a Big Ten singles' crown.
Following graduation, she became a teaching professional, helping coach numerous internationally ranked junior players as a staff member at the
renowned Bollettieri Tennis Academy.
Continuing her academic pursuits, Marji attended the University of South
Florida's graduate school of business as a prelude to assuming management of her family's successful retail operations in Sarasota,
Florida. Under her leadership, the business grew nearly seven-fold.
Marji served as Director of Spiritual Development at a vibrant, growing, non
-denominational church in Sarasota, Florida until October 1997, where she shared the responsibilities of teaching. She is currently working full time for
Anchor Your Life, a non-profit ministry devoted to encouraging individuals to understand how God's power can transform their lives and how their
Christian faith can enrich their daily living. In addition to regularly conducting group seminars, she has also authored a curriculum for helping
people grow in their faith.
Marji has a Master of Arts degree in theology from Wheaton College in
Wheaton, Illinois and is a graduate of Leighton Ford's Arrow Leadership Program, a ministry dedicated to training young leaders from around the
country. She has participated in other national inter-faith organizations and is active with youth in Sarasota community, serving as a basketball coach
for a public middle school girl's basketball team.
Being single, Marji understands the advantages, as well as the challenges
of single life. At the same time, her involvement in the lives of her nine nieces and nephews provides a unique insight into the challenges of raising
a family in today's diverse world. Marji lives in Sarasota, Florida.
