Tiberias Hillside
Hillside looking west from Tiberias. Tiberias is located on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee. The city is about 12 miles south of where the Jordan River flows into the Sea of Galilee and stands on a rocky cliff. The climate is semitropical, mild in winter but humid in summer.
