The purpose of Anchor Your Life is to challenge individuals to come to know God and to grow in their personal relationship with Him through a deeper understanding of God’s word by teaching, sharing, and in any other way communicating the Word of God.
History
In early 1996, Marji “Mike” Kruger (the founder and developer of Anchor Your Life) saw the potential to reach a broad audience with God’s Word through the technology of the Internet. For the first year and a half, she acquired as much practical information as possible and spent time in prayer asking God to clarify His vision and to provide the opportunity to work full time developing the site.
From the outset, God was clear that the foundation and the focus of the site was to be on furthering an individuals understanding and application of His Word. . .
Ministry Priorities
- To share with website visitors that a meaningful and fulfilling relationship with God is not only possible, but also attainable by spending time with Him in prayer and Bible study.
- To consistently present the work of Christ on the cross so that those who do not have a relationship with God will be presented the gospel message.
- To teach sound evangelical Biblical doctrine.
- To attempt to model godliness in all communication.
