Love Hopes and Perseveres

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (NIV) 1 Corinthians 13:7

How do you measure up against God’s standards for love?

How do you measure up against God’s standards for love? When was the last time you lost hope? hope in God? in your present situation? in the future? in your marriage? in your children? in your ability to provide for your family? Do you look at failure as final?

When do you feel like giving up? in the middle of health problems? suffering? persecution? difficulties at work? difficulties within your family? Do you feel like giving up when it looks like there’s no way out of a situation?

How do you measure up against God’s standards for love?

I’m sad to share that yes there are many times that i thought it’s final…but at the end of the day and as the beginning of the day starts, it’s another day to watch, pray and war. Yes war in thoughts, in actions, in words. And I’m glad to read this message..it challenges me..how much protection do I ever give to the person whom I think hurts me? will I ever care for her feelings as well? how do I persevere not to hurt her in anyways? even in thought i’m torturing her there.. and I’m sorry Lord I just realized that I have so short of my perseverance.. More prayers and more trust in God that I can able to make up with her =)
