They lay their crowns before the throne and say: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” (NIV) Revelation 4:10-11
No “thing”. . . no person. . . is worthy to sit on the throne in Heaven, but God.
What is on the throne of your life? your house? your money? your job? a promotion? a car? your body? your health? a position? a possession? power over others? prominence?
Who is on the throne of your life? a spouse? a friend? a parent? a boss? a protector? a provider? a boyfriend? a girl friend? a leader? a boss? a president? a celebrity? a pastor? a pro sports hero? a positive role model?
What or whom sits on the throne that you worship or that your life revolves around? Remember, nothing and no one is worthy of our worship, but God!
