According to the “World Book Dictionary” definition of the verb incarnate is “embody; to put into an actual form; realize.” The “Doubleday Dictionary” defines it as “to give bodily form to.” The idea is that to incarnate is to bring a person, a trait, or a truth to life. God chose to reveal Himself through the life of Jesus Christ!
