Christmas came early to Lesotho this year! Thanks to the help of Up With Downs for packing the items and Loving Covers for making the backpacks, these children were given gifts crafted by many hands working together.

A special project prepared by special hands
The students and adults from Up with Down’s recently began packing the contents for this years’ Christmas Packs. The students knew exactly what they were doing as this is the third year that the students have worked on this project. Last year was a huge success! The colorful backpacks were made especially for us by Loving Covers. They are filled with toiletry items and will be delivered this month to needy children in Lesotho and South Africa.
Each Christmas Pack contains shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, Vaseline, and a face cloth for each child.
There is great satisfaction in the work that the students and adults at Up With Down’s is doing. Through their packing projects they are providing hope for children who have very little. You can see the satisfaction in the smiles on their faces! A special project, prepared by special hands. Thanks Up with Down’s for helping us make a difference in the lives of hundreds of children!

We want to bring Christmas to the kids in Southern Africa by providing our children with new backpacks containing toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, soap, shampoo, Vaseline, face cloth, and a special treat for each of them to enjoy.
